1. Our Commitment to Accessibility
Precision Concrete Materials LLC wants every visitor — including people using assistive technology — to be able to get a quote, estimate yardage, and reach dispatch without barriers. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we actively maintain and improve this site to serve everyone.
2. Accessibility Standards
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California’s Unruh Civil Rights Act for effective communication online.
3. ADAWebPro Accessibility Partnership
Accessibility on this site is managed through ADAWebPro™, which provides the on-page accessibility widget, ongoing monitoring, and remediation support. This is a first-party integration — the widget runs from this website itself and stores your preferences only in your own browser.
4. Accessibility Widget Features
Open the accessibility widget (the accessibility icon on the left edge of the page) to adjust the site to your needs:
- Visual adjustments — larger or smaller text, contrast options, and readable display settings.
- Reading aids — aids that help you follow and focus on the text you are reading.
- Navigation aids — keyboard-friendly controls and a shortcut reference (“Show shortcuts”).
- Persistent preferences — your settings are saved in your browser and reapplied on every visit.
- Reset — one control returns everything to default.
5. How to Use the Widget
Click or tap the accessibility icon to open the panel, choose your adjustments, and close the panel with the close button or the Esc key. Your choices apply immediately across the whole site and are remembered on this device. Use Reset inside the panel to clear them.
6. Keyboard Access
The site can be navigated with a keyboard: Tab moves between links and controls, Enter activates them, and Esc closes the chat window, menus, and the accessibility panel. The widget includes its own shortcut list under “Show shortcuts,” including toggling the widget and adjusting text size.
7. Site-Wide Accessibility Features
- Semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, footer) for screen-reader navigation.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images.
- Labeled form fields with clear inline error messages on the quote form.
- Sufficient color contrast in the site’s design system.
- A responsive layout that supports browser zoom and mobile screen readers.
- Descriptive page titles and link text.
8. Compatibility
The site and widget are built to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox, on desktop and mobile, and with common screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS. If something does not work with your assistive technology, we want to know.
9. Feedback & Assistance
